Exceptional ☺(Ground floor apartment) Exceeded our expectations! Very easy access to the apartment - using a coded lockbox, perfect location - many corner shops nearby, 3min walk to the Panormou metro station, 12min walk to Lidl (many other local supermarkets closer than Lidl), the neighbourhood doesn't seem sketchy (just average Athens vibes) - also in terms of safety there were bars separating our terrace from the street which reassured us a lot. In general our expectations for an apartment in Athens were very low, but this one turned out to be one of the best stays we've experienced in european cities. The host provided us with literally everything we needed: every possible kitchen utensil, a microwave, a toaster, a coffee machine, coffee, tea, sugar, water, shower gel, shampoo, a first aid kit with band-aids and ointment for insect bites, more than enough toilet paper, paper towels, cleaning products and 2 sets of paper flip-flops. Very easy access. It had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was well stocked with basic pots and pans, dishes, an iron, hair dryer, and even a 1st aid kit, microwave, Nespresso machine, toastie maker, washing machine. Great shower with pressure (need to turn on the hot water switch 15 min in advance.) Secure building, quiet street. Would def book with Elvita apartments again when visiting Athens. ☹ Wish the washing machine also dried as clothes took a few days to dry on the line outside.
